i snapped my main stem in two today by not being careful enough. i researched some forums and found out that you can just tape it and prop it with something and it will recover, so i did this. my next question is, is that my plant is just over two weeks into budding, and has about a month and a half to go, will the break of the stem slow the procces down, and if so how long. thanks and any suggestions are appreciated.
I was told that it is actually called "Super Cropping" I did the same thing I bent one and it started to bleed ( I propped it up now it is tougher than ever. I was in veg though . Good luck to you.
It's called super cropping. I used to do it with corn becuase I grew it hydroponically, that shit got so tall hydro corn is amazing btw. Don't know about weed. But since it's so though if you just get a stick or a pencil to tape the stem to for support it should get stronger. Who knows, don't give up.
i went back and checked on my plant today to see how it was doing after the break. and first thing i saw was that the whole thing is drooping gnarly. all the leaves are still very green but it just looks like i overwatered it or something wich i didnt, because i diddnt even water it after it happened. is this a normal thing to happen after such a major break like that (main stem), and will it recover. the taping job was good and is holding up strong so i dont know what it could be. thanks for the help.
