Alright so a few months ago i had a party and among the chaos I dropped my favorite piece. Its a simple bubbler i found at some shady convienince store. I got it for 11 bucks and i immediatly fell in love with it, but now its broken... I love it cuz im obsessed with bubblers and how well they work, and the fact that its both fumed and has those spirally things going down it. I'm pretty sure i wont find another one like this for 11 bucks either :/ My question is if i take this to a glass blower / glass repair place will they be able to fix it? OR Can i somehow grind down the jagged piece and just use it like that? The pics attached are of the bubbler in its current state and the 2 fragments that broke off for reference. Thanks guys!
Is it possible to use epoxy to fill in gaps in the glass too? cuz theres one bit missing near the mouthpiece hole that i imagine would need to be filled in... and i didnt even think of epoxy, good idea
JB WELD MY FRIEND!!!!! i have fixed countless friends pieces just by using some jb weld. its strong as fuck and will never break, i even have an old fourwheeler and this stuff has kept the engine block together for 3 years. but just make sure you put the jb weld only on the surface you're piecing back together, don't just goop it everywhere. plus it's cheap too. and yeah its cool if you use this to fill in pieces, it'll dry as hard as steel. just don't fill in pieces inside the bowl, don't wanna smoke fumes of anything
