Ok so 2 days ago I got in an argument and instead of punching the guy and getting arrested I punched a wall. At first I didn't feel a thing but all my knuckles were instantly bruised. About 10 mins later my hand had swollen up and had 2 big bumps about the size of a gumball behind my ring and pinky finger. The bumps went down a little but the hands still swollen bad and is bruised deep between the two fingers. I can move all my fingers but sometimes I get sharp pains where the metacarpal would meet the knuckle on my middle, ring and pinky finger. I also can make a fist but it hurts like hell and its not tight. The pain is about a 4 but if it gets hit it hurts but not to bad about a 7 I'd say. Im going to the doc tomorrow to get an x-ray but I just wanted to get some of your guys opinions and if you've had a similar injury. I'd also like to know if it is broken will this type of break require a cast?
