Bump for update??? Was it over piracy or something more sinister? 7/15: Dozens of outspoken, popular blogs shut down (in China) Maybe we got the idea from China?
I'm not sure exactly why the site was shut down. The owner had received multiple C&D orders and didn't do anything about them. Most likely the feds found something illegal on his website and just decided that with the server, they would have enough info to build a case against this "repeat offender". I doubt we got the idea from China. I think the owner will probably be brought up on charges eventually if he was hosting illegal information.
