Experienced a new, quite unpleasent, affect marijuana has on me today. I had never received this queer feeling until tonight. After hitting up several bong loads and then some pipe with a chum I noticed a stirring sensation in my head. It was not the normal frying, heating, or just plain hallucinogenic feelings my brain undergoes on pot. I felt a pop, such as one you would find yourself having after your ears are clogged from swimming and they 'pop' back to a normal state. The peculiar pop was followed by another one and another, until a steady stream hit me. Although not painful, they are certainly bothersome as they seem nearly impossible to stop. Tonight I've been chugging back liquids to stave off the explosions in my head. Other than that, the only way I can stop the awkward feeling is by laughing and that seems too sketchily insane. I'm sure it is nothing too physical and is my mind trying to trip itself out but it's just unsettling to have such a weird feeling preside over me even during my coming down of the high. Has anyone else experienced this odd feeling?
yeah ive had those a couple times too when i get really high and try to go to sleep...anyone know what it is
That was certainly the most intensely worded description of anything I've ever read about while high. Very intense and intriguing to me, as I have never experienced anything like this, and it sounds positively frightening!!
I've never delt with that unpleasant feeling due to MJ, but have due to allergies. However, MJ loves to play tricks on your head and has many times to me. I'm sure many other stoners can relate with you on certain, odd unpleasanties while stoned. Such as, when I first began to toke when I would drive I would constantly tap my foot on the pedal. I could not stop it, it did not affect my driving but I always felt like my friends would see it and think I'm weird (paranoia)... But it stopped after a while, and I haven't had any unpleasanties (I dunno if that's even a word, but it makes sense right?) lately, besides paranoia every once-in-a-while. Take it ez, Oz.
you have to laugh to stop the sounds in your head? duuuude, that's not normal maan. you must laugh to stop the sounds, insane...
If it happened to me I'd try asking a professional anonymously, that shit would FREAK ME OUT and I'd want to know it wasn't anything serious. But perhaps theres a fairly innocent explanation? I've never heard of anything like that before.
Those random occurrences of neurotic twisting have ceased. My brain is back to a healthy humming upon being entered by THC. Further explanations about those moments shall perhaps never be revealed to me.
As fucked as it sounds, I totally know what you mean. It wasn't as extreme as "popping", but the sensations were definitely crazy
the way you write is just cracking me up man. i like it. i know what you mean though, ive had some weird feeling things happen to my head.
