Hey guys, So I've been boxing for like 4 months now and the only supplement i've been taking is whey protein after my workout sessions. My brother just got this new supplement called Size On, which has creatine and other stuff in it. He says it's meant for body building, but i tried it and just got back from a pure boxing workout no weights or anything and i felt as if my endurance increased x10 and i just didn't get tired. It was great so guys if you know any info on this stuff let me know cause i don't wanna be taking shit that won't benefit me.
Read the label on your protein powder. Most of them have creatine in them. If you want a preworkout you can take one, but the energy is mostly from caffeine and other stimulants.
I really like this stuff called Shroom Tech Sport, but it's super expensive. It basically increases oxygen utilization and aerobic capacity. You get a huge surge of energy from it, but it's not like energy from a stimulant. You don't feel jittery and your heart doesn't race and all that. You just feel like you can go on forever. I train BJJ and that's the only thing I'll take before class or a fight. Otherwise, on lifting days, I really like this stuff called C4 Extreme. It's got creatine and a stimulant in it, so it's not something you want to take when you're doing a bunch of cardio, but it really does make me a beast in the gym.
