I am going to start just one plant with CFL lights. i have a soft white CFL light for budding and day time CFL light for vegetation stage. I am only growing one plant and want to build a box to put it in.

Does any know how big this box should be? like how wide and how tall for an indica plant?

Also will i be unsuccessful if i dont have a fan. Like what if i just have the plant with the light in a box. will it be horrible bud or should i get a ventilation fan or what?

    thanks for any advice

You will need a fan, yes.

  4. I did my first grow in a old speaker box dimensions about 18"wide x 18"deep x 48"tall . You'll need a fan, but no need to go overkill, a small computer fan will work. Also, I'm not sure how much wattage you have already but if you're growing with cfls i would recomend 75-100 total watts (real watts, not "replacement" watts that CFL's are often advertised with)
Feel free to PM me with any questions

  5. The fan not only provides ventilation, but also strengthens the stem, from the time it is wee so small, to big kahuna.
