Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Flannigan, Oct 31, 2023.

  1. I have asked a couple questions about harvest but im asking who uses the boveda? Pros and cons about using? And alternative measures? Or any useful information about them?

I'm in the middle of drying and I have more im cuttin soon

  2. Theu
They work decent. I've used the 1lb packs in big jars just fine for long term storage.

  3. I use Integra Booster packs at 55% to cure. I find 62-65 too moist for my liking. I normally take a bud or two out for a day prior to smoking. I think the integra packs maybe cheaper.

  4. I read about those too. I'm also trying to decide on the percentage. Thank you

  6. So how dry do you guys get your buds before you add the pack? What or how do you guys do your cure? I mean after stems snap I have heard put them in jars. I have heard from another fellow growers on here different ways but close to the same.

  7. dont use them right away put your stuff in jars and burp when they are completely dry and ready for long term storage stick one in the jar

  8. dont wait for stems to snap Flannigan trust Me I have just jarred mine already the trick is to put them in about 80% dry then open them a few times a day or pour them out gently and put them back in when you pinch a bud and it snaps back you know they are close I dont measure humidity i just eyeball it after as many harvests i have had you just know

  9. 62% long term 58% if I plan on using it the next few months. I like to add them after the cure myself. I slow cure 6 months. Then add the packs.

  11. I agree just about to snap but still pliable. Slowly cure from there. Too dry you'll risk it all when burping.

  17. Ok so I went with 10 boveda 58 each is good for an oz and it would be nice to get 10 oz and that's around what im thinking but damn sure not sure. Wish me luck. The way you guys described everything what I have In the box I'll put in jars in the morning. I only have 4 with lids and it's cheaper to buy a 12 pack of harsh right here at the farm store than Amazon or ordering bands and lids.

Ps when I said I wish to get 10 oz im talking about what I have In the box and what's left on the plant I was drying and the entire other plant. I'm hoping

  18. Similar process here. 62% packs. To remove the guessing game, I will also use a hygrometer in each storage container to confirm the humidity. I sleep better when I’m not guessing.
