Boveda Pack Question

Discussion in 'Harvesting and Processing Marijuana' started by caljian, Oct 31, 2023.

  1. I have never used these, so please pardon my newbie question. LOL

I just harvested my last plant and now have about 10 full 32-ounce mason jars. I keep them stored in a box in my outdoor shed. Here in Central California, we have had a major cool down and I expect nothing but cold for the next several months.

I guess my question is would it be worth it to try the packs or with my weather and storage, not needed? Should I wait for warmer weather, or does that even make a difference?

    Happy Halloween all!!

  2. If stored in airtight jars at the proper humidity, boveda packs aren't really needed, especially if the jars are not opened on a daily basis.

  3. I think that moisture packs help preserve the moisture, especially if you are cracking open masons from time to time.
I use Integra Booster packs at 55% to cure. I find 62-65 too moist for my liking. I normally take a bud or two out for a day prior to smoking to let them air dry. I think the integra packs maybe cheaper.

  7. Yeah I'm pretty much done opening them and they'll be stored in cool weather, so I'm feeling good without the packs for now. Thanks again!!
