I'm going to Boulder for thanksgiving with my family, was wondering if there is any place where I can legally buy pot? If not, I have a few friends who go to UC Boulder and I could grab some there. But will it be legal to smoke or has the law not been implemented yet? -Thanks
I hear it's essentially legal to smoke. Few departments will enforce it. Just don't smoke where you can't smoke cigarettes.
Technically the laws have not yet changed, but the Boulder County police are no longer issuing tickets for possession of less than an oz or paraphernalia. I think it is still illegal to smoke in public, but if you are moderately discreet you will be OK. Sadly, nowhere to legally buy unless you have a red card.
