bought a new truck. think i found a perfect stash spot. want opinions.

Discussion in 'Marijuana Stash Box' started by wtfjusthappened, Sep 28, 2012.

  1. So yesterday I drove home in an 06 toyota tacoma with a 5 speed manual transmission. Now I try not to make a habbitof driving around with bud, but there are always those times you have to.

Anyway in the bed of my truck there are two little tool box type things molded into the bed liner of the truck. They have doors that latch. I figureit would be better to keep it back there then in th cab where it would be easy to smell and impossible to hide in a search.

Now my question is, do cops search the bed of your truck, or is that outside there right? I think its a perfect spot, but you never know with the 5/0.

    Any opinnions?

  2. if they searched ur truck...theyre searching everywhere. even the bed. its better than in the cabin though. my opinion is you get a little press to seal jar from a head shop and some velcro and velcro it to the inside of a bumper that way its outside the car and wont be easily smelled. if the dogs come ur fucked either way but if they dont bring dogs ur good theyd never look inside the bumber and even if they did it would be easy to miss.

  3. Yeah I already have a nice little nug jug that airtight. I just wrapped it in a shirt and stuck it back there. At least then when I roll my window down th smel of dank dosent come pooring out. Lol

I guess as long as its illegal im gonna be at risk no matter what.

  4. Correct me if i'm wrong. But i'm pretty sure that if its locked and you need a key to get into it they need a warrant to search it. Cause my friend just recently got in trouble with the pigs for having a bowl in his bookbag & he went to court and fought it saying that it was in the trunk and the cop searched it without a warrant or anyones consent. & his charges got dropped. Same with locked gloveboxes and shit. but I could be wrong.

  5. the best stash is good driving and a totally legal car.

    you wont get pulled over....

some cops see a stoner looking person and no matter what you do, you are getting a full search.

  6. Half the reason I got a new car was to avoid police. My last car overheated, was missing a mirror, the trannie slipped, tags expired etc.

Now im perfectly legal and have a reliable car. I may add a lock to the compartment in the back. Seems like the best way to keep the pigs out.

  7. Hey bro, I had a lifted Chevy with a toolbox that say in the bed not on top, which made it hard to see the thing unless it was light outside or you were right next to it. Anyway, I highly recommend the toolbox as the storage spot, not that I recommend it but back in high school I would take all my shit, weed, baby bong, everything to schoolyard entire senior year and then would put it in the toolbox. We frequently had dogs come and I never got sniffed out, the truck sat high enough that the quick little searches weren't able to find the bud, always keep it in the toolbox if you can my friend

  8. Yep put it in the side toolbox with a lock, don't deny the search, do not let them know you have the key. if they ask anything say that the lock was on it when you bought the car and am waiting to get a key from the owner. I highly doubt they would go as far as to bring K9's for something that sounds easily believable, that's also if they even decide as far as to fully search your car (IF THEY HAVE PROBABLE CAUSE)

Never let a piggy search your car without probable cause, or a warrant.

  9. cops dont give a shit. they LOVE weed busts. its like finding treasure to them. so if they have a k-9 unit that isnt on another call at the moment...they WILL bring hte dogs for anything. best thing to do is hwen u have bud just drive extra safe. signal ur turns. dont run lights. speed limit. windows up and be cautious

  10. Don't forget to make full stops at stop signs...that's a big one

Best advice I can give is control the smell, because if you aren't super stoned or acting weird and you don't have a record then they won't bother you or even question you...assuming it's not at 3AM on a weekend

  11. Dogs aren't finding shit when it's in a sealed container. Just keep it in the tool box and you'll be fine. Keep it locked.

^They certainly will find it. That is unless you thoroughly clean the outside of the jar and your hands with a solvent multiple times. And even then there's still probably some traces for the dogs to smell.

As was said, don't give them a reason to pull you over. Aside from an up to spec car one of the most commonly overlooked things even though it should be glaringly obvious is, wear your seat belt. And don't talk on the cell phone either if that's the law in your state.
