So I bought a bong a week ago (this one), waiting for it to come in. I have a few apprentice questions before, only smoked a bong once. The only green I have now is reggie, and a lot of it lol. When using my pipe, I don't like to smoke that many bowls because it's so hard on my throat. With ice cold water/ice in this bong, will I be able to clear a bowl in one or two big rips? And also, how much smoother are hits from a bong compared to a pipe? (with cold water and ice) Thanks!!
water filtration by itself a huge huge leap from a dry pipe. I honestly don't like pipes because of the harshness. even if you don't have ice, or even ice cold water for that matter - it will be way smoother. Ice cold water helps it cool down faster, and ice makes it feel like inhaling air on a winter day. Crushed is better than cubes, and when cleaning your bong, use 90%+ rubbing alcohol with salt then rinse well.
no problem bud, oh and I forgot to mention that the bong you've bought has a perc, which will also make it way smoother. Keep in mind for any future purchases though, more percolation/filtration will tend to create more drag. (the time it takes to pull all the smoke once you remove the slide/bowl) Anyway, welcome to the Bong club! Cheers!

Yah i have exact same bong, "labeled differently tho", and the ashcatcher.. but i prefer it that way. But yah i went from dry spoon to bubbler to bong and i will never go.back to spoon... doesnt get u as high with same amount of weed and doesnt feel nice really. You'll love it man!

I bought this bong for my sister. She liked it I guess, it was good quality and better then the one she had, worth the money. Use ice to make it smoother like the other guys said, heart burn is such a bitch.
^Ice is fine if you like breathing cold air. I like room-temp myself, maybe a little cool but not cold. Op it really depends on the bud. If it's really harsh shit it'll still be harsh from the bong. Not as much though compared to a small dry piece.
