Bottom Line on Medical Marijuana

Discussion in 'Medical Cannabis: Treatments & Patient Experiences' started by meteorlima, Jan 27, 2008.

  1. I'am a 61yr old Vietnam vet and MMP & activist. I know a few of the main people involved in the medical marijuana movement in San Francisco. Here are some of the big problems we face ... People who scam the system for "non-medical" reasons (usually young people who want to impress their friends) give people opposed to us ammunition to say "we told you this would happen!" Only makes an already "bad" image "worse". Also the screening process sucks (lax) needs tighting. Heres the bottom line... We need to change "FEDERAL LAW" period so ALL PEOPLE can freely choose to use, NOT just MMP's. Whoever is elected president will not change the federal law regarding this issue. WHY? Pressure from drug lobbies because if patients can GROW their own medicine the drug companies lose big time not to mention any other industry that marijuana/hemp can compete with. If you TRULY LOVE MARIJUANA you will get off your ass and take action damn it. STOP THE FED'S NOW!!!!!
