New leaves will grow nice and healthy but evently die off when new ones on top come in Do I need some kind of nutrients for them I used miracle grow food on them and it don't seem to be working Makin it worse actually
whenever I have a leaf problem, exactly like yours...top leaves great, bottom leaves dying...it's impossible for me to know exactly what the problem is because it could be so many things. the solution is always the same. Let the plant dry out. Feed it with nothing but tap water (and very limited amounts) and maybe a shot of Cal Mag. I guarantee you it is not a nutrient deficiency. Probably more likely too much, especially if you are using Miracle Grow. Never sure if it is too much water, too much fertilizer, or a problem with growing medium. Usually, it bothers me more than it bothers the plant. Best advice is, "Better luck next time."
Depending on size of your plant, it is totally natural for old growth to yellow and die, I usually just cut that stuff off Sent from my Spaceship using the GrassCity App.
