Bottom branches too close to soil!?!?

    My plants leaves are too close to the dirt and it makes it a hassle to water. is there a way to stretch it so the bottom leaves are farther above the soil? Will cutting the bottom branches have a negative affect? My plants are about 3 weeks old.

    Just cut off the offending branches. Use them and clone more of the same.
