So me and my buddy are looking to get a new tube this upcoming weekend, and we have a couple canidates already. We are looking to spend around 320. So its between a toro dick diffused tube, and this BOOMfelazi, both about 310 out the door, so im looking to hear from some felazi owners, or ppl who know about the company. the one we are looking at is a stemless inverted gridded showerhead and its quite beautiful imo.
I don't know the company at all, but that is a beautiful piece. Gridded inverted showerhead seems cool, and should diffuse well, but, 3 concerns... How thick is the glass? it looks really thin. The stem leading into the tube gets really thin, and doesn't look like the strongest joint, so it could be fragile there. The base looks quite small... So..looks easy to tip over, and fragile..which just seems like a bad combo. If the glass is nice though, then that would be an awesome piece. Toro disk diffused are also great tubes, I can't say if I'd prefer a disk over the inverted showerhead. I would just try them both, see how they drag is and how well the bubbles stack.

yea the one at my lhs looks way better than the one in that picture. the stem is way thicker.. i want to hit it next time i go in to see how it drags and stacks. the toro is at a different lhs and the chick there put water in it and let me hit it, and it was dissapointing, it didnt stack well at all... i did too at first but after i held one, it grew on me...
The lack of stacking i wouldn't really be concerned with, but if the draw was dissappointing and you liked the BOOM better then I would get that one.
Yeah all the bottle necks in the stem and tube itself make me think itll drag alot and potentially be thin spots. Almost makes me say check it out in person in your hands first but its your call.
So me and my friend went down and got this bad boy a few hours ago...This thing=win. theres no drag, and it defuses like crazy giving a real nice hit. the crown defuser has 30 holes, so it bubbles and stacks very nicely. I definitly looked at this piece for flaws, as well as alot of other glass before this purchace, and my only criticism is the stem is a little thin at the bottom, but im ok with that as i am very careful with my glass. check it!
Looks like a fun tube OP just be SUPER careful with that joint/bottom of the stem. Super super careful Seems like a quite tall tube too. Can you take vids?
ya its taller than id like it to be... ill get one up tonight, im about to blaze so ill just film it lol
