Bong-THC question.

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by mattytsanchez, Jun 29, 2012.

  1. Im planning on making a glass jar homemade bong with about 5 chambers pretty soon. I heard someone say the more the smoke is filtered, the "less" THC you inhale, but I also heard someone else say the more the smoke is filtered, the "more" THC you inhale. Who is right?

  2. Neither are quite accurate. The liquid you're filtering the smoke with (keep in mind that even using alcohol probably won't absorb enough to notice) - would probably be the only variable able to affect how much THC/CBD/CBN you're getting.

You're probably just going to be using water, however. Since THC is only fat and alcohol soluble - water would not change the amount you'll intake, but rather "filters" the smoke by catching some of the nasty byproducts produced by the burning plant matter, which is irrelevant when addressing the original consideration.

  3. Cool man thank you!

  4. Anytime, brother!

  5. Plenty of thc, but.it'll probably have a crazy amount of drag
