My friends just gave me this bong and it was in dire care for some love, I cleaned it all up and I'm currently trying to fix the seal by the downstem. It was broke off and my friend had tried fixing it a few times with various things I guess, some sort of epoxy for sure.

The downstem is a little broken on the end but I don't see why it'd make any difference once it's actually sealed inside. I was thinking maybe use JBweld glass on it? or I also read hot glue? I don't really care what it looks like, but how it is now you have to hold the whole thing in while you hit it, just want a cheap fix.

  2. Use quicksteel. It's less than $10 a tube from pep boys or advanced auto parts, inert up to very high temperatures and extremely durable so make sure you apply it right the first time.

Administer it like a putty and its about 10min to fully harden. I'd suggest doing it in small pieces at a time so you can smooth it out. Here's a patch job I did. Good luck
