whats up guys and girls. so i've been smoking the past 5 years but i've never owned a legit piece besides a bowl since i usually smoke blunts. whenever i smoke from bongs, i let the person who owns it take care of it and i just enjoy hitting it. well the other night i got pretty drunk and woke up (pleasantly) surprised to find out i ordered this bad boy: Black Leaf Glass - 7mm - Triple 5-arm Tree Perc Ice bong - No Carb Hole - Glass Ice Bongs - Glass Bongs - Bongs and Waterpipes - Smoking Pipes - Grasscity.com i got a couple questions for you pros if you don't mind since i don't know much about bong maintenance: 1. first off...is this a solid purchase? looks like a steal for that price but i'm no expert. 2. is there anything i should know about this so i don't ruin it? i picked up from the reviews that i should buy an ashcatcher but what i really want to know are things like what's the best way to fill up the bong with water/pour out the water (like if i pour it out from the top will it clog up the percs and ruin them)? much appreciated to anyone who answers and helps a newb out.
Looks like you bought something you know nothing about lol. Don't get an ash catcher you already have too much water already in my opinion. As for putting water in it just make the water about a half an inch above the top slit on the trees.
My friend bought a PHX straight tube that had a triple perc set up like yours last year. The percs on his weren't well made at all, and although the hits were smoother than the beaker we were using at the time, the drag was so bad that he ended up selling it a couple weeks later. However, if you get yours and it milks to your liking, I would definitely recommend getting some type of ash catcher or carbon filter. I'd be afraid of breaking that thing trying to clean it.
This bong is a dick sucking teacher.. its going to be really hard to hit and clear with all the percs. you will have alot of drag. and geting an ashcatcher would only add to the drag. But it is still pretty thick and nice. you will still really enjoy it. Personally i prefer bongs with no percs at all. They milk really nice and clear lightning fast
