Bong joint size

    I just bought a bong off a friend. It's hand blown glass, came with downstem and bowl as well.

    But i'm wondering... if i want to add an ashcatcher or precooler or somthing, how can i find out what the joint size is?

    is it glass on glass? meaning are the joints glass? if so then its either 18mm or 14mm (the 18 might be 17, i mix them up sometimes) but yeah the 18 is significantly bigger than the 14, and 18 is the standard for most avarage sized tubes

    are you buying online or from a shop? if at the shop, and your bong is glass on glass, then its most likely 18mm

    edit* i meant to say that you could easily compare at a shop just by looking
