Hey guys, Fairly new to the whole bong thing, cos I usually use my pipe or roll a J, but my parents were away last week so I decided what the hey, and ordered a bong. It's great and all, but my problem is that when I hold my lighter to the weed and inhale, it ends up putting out the lighter because of the air flow from the bowl. Is there any way around this, other than using a turbo lighter? Cheers =)
u need to hit it lightly if thats the case ur probably hitting it too hard, and make sure theres water in ur bong lol!!! Also, keep in mind, a bong hit is going to get u WAAAAY higher than a j or pipe.
just get a new bowl with a smaller hole . had the same problem with the bowl that came with my ehle 100ml the hole was so large you could actually stick a fucking pencil through it

when that happens for me its because it is too close, try lighting the lighter away from it and then bringing it closer until your suction causes the flame to corner the bowl and get a awesome hit

pull the flame as far of the bowl as u can so just the tip is hitting the weed, perfect distance the lighter wont go out trust me
