Bong cleaning question

    hey guys, i recently bought a clear acrylic bong with a pull out slide and after smoking about a half ounce through it, it is sick looking and i have changed the water several times. i was just wondering if it is okay to put it in the dish washer or should i hand wash it and it i use dish soap will it taste like soap afterwards

    i dont know for acrylic but for my glass bong i use 91% isopropyl alcohol and salt
