I have a CBC (Canadian Bong Corporation) bong that I’ve recently got. I have a round glass bowl (male), but I want the funnel bowl for mine, as well as an ash catcher. My bowl I believe is 14mm, if I purchase an ash catcher it has to be 14mm does that mean the bowl will also stay 14mm. I know I probably sound dumb but I don’t have any friends who smoke weed or would know.

it just depends! they have ash catchers that go from all sorts of sizes to other sizes. like an ash catcher that holds an 18mm bowl but goes into a 14mm bong, or vice versa, or some other combination. BUT— most applications maintain bowl size. most will go into the same size joint as the joint they have for a bowl. so most 14mm ash catchers WILL still take a 14mm bowl. any good store will be able to tell you, and even online a store should list the joint sizes for both ends of the ash catcher!
If it just says 14mm then everything should be 14. If it says something like 18/14 or whatever then you need to be cautious of whats compatible. Luckily there are basically 2 main sizes and the majority of glass all uses the same sizes which makes most thing compatible. An easy way to make sure is to simply measure the bottom of the bowl.
