    Different processes to make them, resulting in different consistencies.

    Wax melts down like, well, wax. Extremely quickly melts into nothingness. Hash is more likely not to melt or to catch on fire or to turn into a little black rock of shit, unless it's very high quality hash. Hash is a little easier to manipulate.
