Dude at the grow shop just threw me some bokashi called 'Grokashi'. Anyone have some tips for using it? I've heard it's mainly for cultivating good fungus around your root zone but haven't done much reading on it, and never used bokashi before.
It's the same as EM1 but instead of liquid, their in the grains. When you mix in soil, it helps it cycle so it's ready quicker but I haven't noticed much difference when I used it previously. The liquid is better in my opinion as you can use it to make AEM so one bottle can be 40+ gallons of concentrate which goes a long way when diluted. Sometimes I use mine on my pots. Hope that helps.
Sweet, I didn't know it could speed up the composting cycle of my mix. Just what I need right now, I forgot to start my mix last week when I needed to.
