Story- So I was waiting for my seeds when a friend of mine told me he has a 3 week old clone that is fully rooted he will sell me. So I picked her up yesterday. She stood in a corner of a room her whole life with no lighting only what came threw the window. I asked what lights he used and he replied "She doesn't need light its chemically grown." I wanted to call him a newb but I just bought it. Took home to transplant it because it was soaked in water and was dieing as it was. Also it had little to no roots! After doing that I then find it has SPIDER MITES! So I took care of those but I think this is too much for this baby. Grow- Fox Farm Soil. eight 27W CFL's (I think this may be too much). Distilled water first couple of weeks then hitting it with some 8-4-6 Nutes. Problem- Spider MITES!! Solution- 1 tablespoon of bleach to 1 gallon of distilled water. Ph Balanced at 6.5. 90DegreesF. Plant- Purp. Had some good good leaves and two bad ones. Clipped the bad one.
Day 2 - So after about 15 hours of these Cfl's and spraying it with the home made bug spray it has tried up a bit. Looks worse then it did. But I have a lot of faith in this one. The stem looks great just the leaves are wilting a lot. Hopefully it will get adapted here shortly. More updates soon.
good luck man!!! keep trying whatever u shure u got all the best conditions? if u do id say itll be ok
I am pretty sure my conditions are fine pretty dry low-mild Humidity. Had 8 lights on it I think that was a bit much so kicked 2 of them off. I only put in 200ML of water I think I may need some more. Do not want to flood it. Going to try and get it rooted before I add nutes to her. Have a fan blowing over the plant and the light bulbs. Edit: So he is coming over tonight because he thinks I screwed the plant up because he claims it was fully rooted. He said he will replace if he sees it is his fault.
Exact - I am not sure this plant came early so I haven't received my thermometer yet. but is just a closet. Temp I would guess 75-85's
ok dont let it rase over 85 and i thought that not rooted plants need a lot of humidity becouse thay dont get enough from the roots id get a humidifyer - ull need it anyway and set some 50-70% humidity there
