Bluedots?

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by Valtrex_Man, Feb 28, 2007.

  1. Does anyone have any experience with bluedots? How do they compare to Roors or phx's? A local headshop has a two foot one for $150 and I think I may have to buy it.

  2. definitely grab it.

it was the first GonG tube i ever owned and i love them.

i had a friend break one of mine and i broke one, so i'm on my third.

don't think me breaking two is evidence of cheap glass though, they were both very warranted breaks. i bit the beaker off of the basin of the bath tub pretty hard, and my friend just dropped it from like 3-4 feet.

i've knocked them over a couple times and they've held up.

ooh, btw, i've owned two beaker bottoms and my current bluedot is a straight tube. i've got to say i'm more of a fan of the straight tube. clears much easier, less of a hassle, cleans very easily.

the only downside to the straight tube is ice melt, but it's not a big deal. gives you an excuse to change the water.

here's a pic of my current tube

  3. I love blue dots to death but they do break too damn easily. All you have to do it tap that stem the wrong way and the down piece will chink right off.

  4. you shouldn't be tapping anything the wrong way, then your glass doesn't break.

and like i said above, my tubes took a couple of spills and were fine.

one example, my friend took a huge hit, blew it out and fell out of his chair into the closet doors in my girlfriend's room and knocked the tube over, it was fine.

don't blame the company if the tube breaks if you hit it on anything or dropped it on anything.

it is glass after all.

  5. Thanks for the helpful replies, I think I'm gonna get the bluedot over an ATX that's a little more expensive.

  6. you get it bro?? pics wold be nice
