Blueberry OG Harvest Assessment

  1. Hi All,

Growing 2 BB OG plants outdoors, and I'm expecting a lot of rain this week. More than I am comfortable with trying to keep these plants from rotting at least.

Was hoping you fine people could give me some feedback as to how long these buds may have left to finish up.

Plant A: Figured I'd chop her tonight, as she is definitely the more ready plant for sure.

Plant B: Was planning on gambling with this girl as I think she definitely could use another week maybe?

I have never made it this far into a grow. I have always chopped down by now with first signs of mold. This year I have been trying to just remove the small patches I find, but they're coming more and more frequently with the cooler and wetter weather.

I've compared to the stickied post and from what I can see they both need a little more time to get REALLY nice.

What do you fine folks think? Should I continue with my mold battle, or will I have some good product if chopped at this point?

    Thanks

  2. I've had a couple bits and pieces of mold as I near the end of harvesting my Blue Dream plant, but around here our main cause of mold is caterpillar damage. It gets so hot here that even if we DO get rain, it's dried out in no time. But if you're worried about mold, I'd keep picking at it and wait at least a couple weeks til harvest. They aren't ready IMO and I'd rather deal with a bit more mold than harvesting a plant too soon if you can keep from it.

Oh and if you have had caterpillars causing mold, BT is a chemical that I treat weekly for those. Awesome stuff!
    Good luck :)

  3. you can reach the point of diminishing returns. leaving it longer to gain a small amount of potency vs the increase in mold and removal of infected flower.

  4. Do you have shelter from the rain you move them to? May help.
