Blueberry MMMMMMM :P

    Hey i am getting a blueberry plant tonite i have a question though, it is a clone mind you....umm what kind of light CAN i use like other there options or do i have to get a ceritan one, now i want to get a fair amount off this plant and really it's my first time growing so yeah any advice would be awesome. thanks guys peace !

    Well if your getting it soon and don't have any lights i suggest you go to walmart of something and buy some CFL bulbs for a starter light. Then, you can work from there.

    u should of read up on this before u get the plant. 1st of do u kno any basics of growing? if u r askin which light i will assume u don't. so the best u can do is get a hps light but if u kno nothing u might want to start out with flouros. heres the basic growing tips. this is just basic tips so read this site and a few others if u can find um for a few days and u will get the idea. plus ask away and we can help. pictures are good to post also. heres those tips.good luck
    1. 18/6 hours of light for veg
    2. 12/12 hours of light to flower.
    3. water when pot gets light.
    4. nute 1/2 strength every few waterings (after day 14 of veg)
    5. harvest and smoke kind nugs!
    ps. the better the light the fatter the buds.... i started on reg. 4ft flouros and am now on a 250 hps i got cheap on ebay for 110 bux. well worth every penny! thicker nugs not airy like my flouros

    can i please have that clone????!!!! i forsee troubles in your future, you need to know what you are doing to grow weed...

    dude you need to ask questions first and grow later, not get a plant and expect to learn how to grow on the same day. not trying to be a dick but, read/research all you can, get your growroom/space set up and running, and then get your seeds/plants/clones.

    Guys you have to understand that i get stuff like this for free all the time now i am not going to say that it doesn't matter if it dies it does but i am not losing anything on i will just go out and get a new one and learn from my mistakes. Like i am going to ask questions. Like my friends will help and i was told it needs 24 hours of light first off... and yeah it's my first plant and also it's blueberry bubblegum not blueberry lol :p

    also for a light i am using like a desk lamp untill thurs is that alright ? lol i know it's brutal but i have to wait till i get paid

    I wouldn't count on a desk lamp to keep a clone alive. Hopefully you learn rather quickly from your mistakes, cause you'll probably make lots of them trying to start with one clone for your first grow.....

    It's one day and i know the littlest thing can make a difference but you kno9w what have faith lets see if love can grow this plant for a day

    If a desk lamp is all you have, go for it. My grow had to start out on a desk lamp, granted it wasn't a clone, but i think for one day, they can manage

    Thanks man honestly i'm just doing it for one day then lets give with a proper bulb and set up i hope and pray that one day wont make that difference thanks for the support man i'll send you some bud lol

    be just fine. In your spare time though, I'd read-up on growing, as you say it may not be a biggie now but when she starts looking good and you super F-up, its going to hurt alot. Quick fix 3 of the largest cfl's you can get in daylight spectrum(5000K-6500K). Next step, pick up a HPS in 2 weeks time. By the way what is the growing medium.

    In case it mattered to those offering help, the clone was fully rooted when I got it. It was potted after the roots penetrated the rockwhool. It was then in the pot under a CFL until roots were visible at the bottom of the pot. It was at this point I received the clone, which I transplanted to a larger pot.

    man..i wish i could have a clone dropped off on me.

    EDIT: its been a few days...hows that clone doing?

    I think you will be ok just for a little while...

    This is the best place to learn how to grow. Someguys are very helpful while others are just typical Forum dickheads so just ask questions and check out the other threads...

    Well guys it's been about 5 days and so far so good it's growing and seems to be healthy so thats good, i will post a pic of it soon so yeah keep your eyes open and you might see it, BUT on the one Leaf the tip is brown only alittle but still thats horrible i'm looking into it but any advice is nice
