Hey, so i grew 3 of these ladies. Looks like I got 3 phenos, one had almost no leaf, one was average and the other was just full of leaf. The one that was full of leaf had thick nugs bigger around than my fist. Anyways will try to get to the point, had to cut about 1-1.5 weeks early due to a move. The first two seemed great got them all trimmed good, nice big nugs all looked normal. Got to the final girl who had a ton of leaf and the bottom of all the buds on the inside are almost white (very very light green) and very sparse. About 1/3rd of the way up the bud they seem to get normal. Now i'm not sure if this is due to cutting slightly early, having too big of nugs too close together, or simply cause the light wasn't getting in there thro the big dense nugs / canopy (I assume it's a collaboration of all these things). Any thoughts? I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.
Light penetration. You will only getting uniform buds if all branches get equal light. The plant pushes hormones to what it feels is the highest branch/buds. (Due to light intensity)
I had the same thing on a Northern lights auto , The white inside , looks almost like it's full of water. I looked deep into it with a jewlers loupe and it had trichomes that were milky and seemed normal looking through the loupe . Haven't had a chance to smoke any yet to determine if it's lesser than the tops and mids where all the color was . But once again. Thing is I had 2 200 ( real watt, tested myself ) in a 4x2 and the lights were 12 inches give or take 2 inches the whole time. Granted though near the bottom of all the nugs that plant especially started flowering when it was so small that I wasn't able to stretch them far enough apart not to be in each others way. Only left 8 tops thought that would be good. So i guess you prob are right in the long run, I should have had less tops and given them more space, they got so thick and stayed so small that taking a few tops would have been the only option. Will get a shitty pic i took with my shitty cell.
That larfy shit aint no good to me! It has to go, no way in hell am i trimming up larfy popcorn that wont do the job

Funny thing is thats the one i lollied the most but buds got too fat. And cldnt get outa each others way. Prob use 1/3rd of the buds to made oil or edibles.
Had them pulled as far as their short little branches would take her. Buds were 3-5 inches + in diameter I may have been able to HST and snap some branches however I'd rather not HST in flowering. If I could go back I think i would now though lol... Next time !!
