    It is going to be a blue moon on new years? If so that's some rare and cool shit. We should all enjoy it.

    The beer should have taken advantage of a big marketing opportunity. But a blue moon is the second full moon in one calendar month. We had a full moon on December 2 and then again on December 31 makes for "a double moon month".
