  1. i have 3 fem BHD. growing and since there autoflower its unlikely ill be able to get successful clones off it but was wondering how i could go about seeding it, do i need pollen from a male BHD, i have the Hermi bannanas from a purple #1 plant and was wondering if these will pollinate the plant with viable seeds coming out in the end

  2. useing the pollen should work.

just try it on one or two lower branches

thanks for feedback really appreciate it

if it doesnt work the seeds will be unstable right? seeing as how im doing a new cross. a sativa dom. with a autoflower indica dom.

  4. All you can do is try. Auto-flowering strains are not worth the time and effort to clone. My only concern would be the fact the auto BHD is from fem seeds; this could be an issue since fem seeds can sometmes carry on the hermie trait which creates them in the first place. In most auto-flowering hybrids, they will carry about 20-25% of the Ruderalis genes which gives them the auto-flowering trait. I would give it a try, it can never hurt to create your own seeds.

Here is what you want to do. Pollinate only the lower part of the BHD females, mybe a couple of the smaller branches. I use a Q-tip and a ziplock bag. Place the Q-tip into the pollen, put the Q-tip in the bag and zip it as tightly as possible around the area you want to pollinate; then shake it a little. Allow a few minutes and carefully take the bag off. You will want these lower pollinated flowers to grow 2 weeks or so longer than the rest of the plant to assure your seeds are mature which will improve your chances of viability. Go ahead and harvest when ready, but leave these pollinated branches to go the extra time. This will give you a decent amount of seeds. You will be looking at about 25% carrying the auto trait. You can select from the males and females which carry the auto trait from these seeds then pollinate these females; which the resulting offspring(seeds) will give you about 50% carrying the auto trait.

    Hope this helps.
