    Hey GC!

I have just started my new project! 4 blue cheese under a 400watt HPS. I have decided to scrog this one and see if it increase my yields.

I'd like to ask some advice on scrog. I have grew natural for my past attempts and can't complain as iv had decent results.

    My stats are as follows:

    Secret Jardin DR90
    10.5 Ltr pots - Biobizz All-mix soil.
Bio Grow, Bio Bloom, Topmax, Leaf Coat (Nutrients)
    X4 Barneys farm Blue Cheese
400Watt Cooltube - Digital ballast - Contactor (flowering)
300 Watt CFL (clones & Veg)
5" RVK Fan outlet connected to 5" Rhino Filter
    Clip on Oscilating fan

The clones were vegged under 300watt cfl for 2 weeks. I have transferred them to tent for training/flower. I have made a screen for my secret jardin 90. The dimensions are L90xW90xH200.

The plants have started to penetrate the screen and I have not Flipped to 12/12 yet. I am unsure wether to flower yet or wait until I have trained the plant under the screen??? If I train during 18/6 I fear it will become too overcrowded wen in full flower, I have had experience with this strain before and the stretch during 12/12 was triple the size of the plants I started with. With me having 4 in there should I will flip them early and train through as they stretch???

I will upload some pics later

    Thanks guys

    Peace

  3. Training during veg is good for ur plants. it low stress trains the to yield more (LST). id say to grow ur plants under the screen til u are about 40 to 70 percent full. maybe 50 percent if ur stretch is what u say. i have a scrog now and switched nearly a week ago. itss starting to stretch and change and man its getting very busy uncer there and i waited till about 60 percent. the extra couple of weeks vegging is well worth the wait. oh.....and so is the time and patience put in to training. ull be rewarded man. keep us updated tho :hello:

  4. Thanks man I will be updating more pics later...

  9. So what do you think guys? Would you say switch to 12/12? Its gona be crowded soon! Haha.

  10. hi. i would say keep the training going for another week to ten days. itll be worth it in yeild bro. i flipped a tad soon and could have waited a few days extra. looking good tho man

  11. Hey smokey.. Good start there... Girls look good.... If you really want to utilize the scrog and your space efficiently your gonna wanna veg for quite a bit longer... Listen to Daddy, hes spot on...Patience my friend...you'll be glad you did... Keep tucking and moving the older growth out until about 50-70% or so (depends on strain) of the screen is filled in...for bushier plants (indicas) fill in more as they tend to stretch less.. For stretchier plants fill less as more tucking during the stretch might be necessary... Take your best educated guess by the way they're growing and if you run the same strain again you'll know when's right..... I will just say from experience they erring on the side of flipping early the first time running a strain is advisable... BUT, if you don't care so much about the yield, and you just want some BUd (as I do sometimes)...well, then..FLiP that BItch..HaHa...
    Peace, Ed :smoke:

  16. Hi Smokey,
Question for ya..Is that a 6 inch flex tube on your hood? Thats what I have on mine and the flexpipe they sold me at Lowes is nothing but crappy aluminum foil that just unwinds when I tried to bend it and it made a mess that I had to duct tape to death to stay on the hood and now I cant raise mine up and down because the duct has no decent give to it. Yours looks like its a different material than mine. Where did you source that from if it is the 6 inch as it looks like
    Thanks CS

Oh BTW, nice looking rig you have there. Looks like it will do very well.

  17. Man they look beautiful. I have the blue cheese seeds and would like to have a setup like that. Are u growing in an apt.?

  18. Thanks dude!

I'm using 5" ducting, I purchased it from eBay with fan & filter. I had trouble fixing mine to cool tube, jus make sure it ain't twisted wen securing into place (on ends of cool tube) cos wen you higher or lower the light it directs the cool tube up on an angle, spreading light up the sides of tent. Give the light plenty of slack with the tubing and cables. I also recommend eazi rollers to easily adjust the distance of light to the plants. I can place my light wherever I want with great eaze. Hope you sort it out as I know it can be a bitch. Good luck!

    Peace!

  19. Thanks for dropping by!

I absolutely love the blue cheese, the smell, the taste..... The buzz! O yeah! Good choice on your strain! I am not in an apt I live in a tree house! OJ. Y do u ask? Are you worried bout the smell of d blue cheese, cos man it does stink! Good luck

    Any questions please fire away

    Peace.
