How oxygen-producing pond scum could save your life after a heart attack I read this article about how scientists injected cyanobacteria into the hearts of rats who had a heart attack and it helped supply oxygen and prevent damage. Couldnt cyanobacteria be used as a way to oxygenate blood in people with lung or heart failure? Like how ecmo is used? Or as an alternative to the heart lung machine during heart surgery?
I have to say I never considered injecting pond scum into my body and I've had some out there thoughts in my time. LMmfAO BNW
