Blood drive

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by mynameisbake, Oct 27, 2012.

  1. Im participating in a blood drive and I'm wondering if thc will show up when they draw my blood which wouldn't be that big of a deal if I wasn't doing this with my school. Also how long does it stay in your bloodstream?

So any blades have any experience doing blood drives and smoking on the regular?

  2. Look, it's a blood drive not a drug test. Thc is out of your blood within hours of smoking. THC stays in your system for longer periods by being absorbed into the fat which is why they use urine tests. So just don't smoke the morning before the drive and you'll be fine.

And also don't worry at all about them seeing you have THC in your blood as that's not what they're looking for. They're taking blood to give to other people they're not trying to see if your under the influence.

  3. Blaze before giving blood, the guy that will get the blood transfusion will be one lucky mofo

  4. Yeah but I figured that they would run tests on my blood before they would give it to someone who needs it

  5. The blood drive people dont give a shit about weed. I told them i toked the night before and they said its safe because only inactive metabolites are in the blood after 12 hours.

  6. I smoke daily and donate blood every 8 weeks. Never had any issues.

Donor here. They test your blood for iron, cholesterol, red cell count, and stds I believe. Not looking for drugs

  8. Bein high can jack up your blood pressure and make you unable to give blood sometimes
