BLM and ALM

  1. I’ve been listening to the news all day at my workplace and honestly at this point you have got to laugh.

The media is so good at cancelling movements out and keeping real change from happening. It makes me a bit sad that people don’t understand and I’m starting to get it myself that black lives matter as well as all lives matter exist to keep things going in a circle. Same with republican and Democrat. We keep going around and around focusing on which phrasing is correct.

We end up focusing on things so trivial it’s making me sick. All I’m hearing on the news is which group is right and which group is wrong. Meanwhile I hear no new statements from police or governors talking about the change they are going to make to improve the policing system.

Now we are just citizens yelling at each other trying to prove how racist, sexist, fascist, socialist, whatever-ist we are. And the people we are supposed to be focused on fade into the background, and the news will find another topic to inundate us with.

  7. its subterfuge, promoted by people in power

all lives matter is trying to subtract from the black lives matter movement because it is in fact causing change, the organized blm protests are causing change and the status quo wants the old way to remain

but people are fed up, and change is coming, hopefully not in a catastrophic way, i have hope because the young people going out and protesting are causing the changes we need right now

we cant stand these racist institutions anymore and they are facing backlash and possible collapse

and so we see the deceit and subterfuge of the media trying to fool the audience into thinking its about something else

  8. Some days I’m more hopeful than others but I think the ignorance and literal psychological and sociological inundation of counter arguments, opposing ideas, random statistics, terrible journalism, and “fact checking” On behalf of large corporations or politicians, whether It’s from our government, our social media which is manipulated by our government and other countries, or our news. With all that against the people, I think there is no way we will ever get anywhere. Protests can do a little bit, seemingly not much, especially when people have to make a living and go back to work.

maybe back then protesting would force change but now we are in the age of the Internet and the people in power controlling the motions know very well how to dismantle anything the people try to put together, because there will be a bigger story next week.

the first paragraph was terribly pieced together but yea

  9. Black lives matter except the 9 children who have been murdered over the last two weeks that everyone has been silent about.

  12. Are these shooting victims? It’s a bit different than police brutality and murders etc. Civilian vs civilian crime happens daily no matter the race. That’s not the subject at hand.

  13. I agree with things needing to be changed, and these movements are really the only way a collective can voice themselves. But, I will also say....
It can be orchestrated and/or twisted (by the elite/corporate) in a way where it pits the little guys against each other (everyone not making 7-figures).

Stop eating each other thats what they want, eat the rich.

  14. The best thing about our country and our "democratic" ways is the thing called VOTE TIME....

only way to figure out what the majority of none Fat/lazy/ambitious/to dumb to vote/ ect want.

  15. BLM wasn't started because of police brutality or murders. It was started because of the death of Trayvon Martin, who wasn't killed or assaulted by any police but rather another civilian. That Hispanic man was aquitted of all charges too.

People should actually listen to the individuals who claim to lead BLM. If you have the time, this is a great video.

  18. Uhmmm... black lives matter is a legitimate, organized group with leaders, funding, demands, ect. “All lives matter” is a talking point. Not sure how you can even equate the two...
