So.. Last Friday, I was chasing my girlfriend back to our car when suddenly, I tripped over this large root sticking out of the ground. All was fine that night. The next morning I wake up in tears because the pain is so intolerable. We figure it is just a sprain so we treat it like one for two days. Monday morning rolls by and around 10:00am my mom looks at my foot and decides to take me for x-rays. ( I should have gone for them earlier, but it was up to me to decide if the pain is too much ) We go get x-rays and the doctor says there is nothing wrong [ that he can see ] but we need to call back the next day. So, he gives me a prescription for 20/500mg vicodin. The next day rolls around and we call the radiologist( the guy who takes the xrays ) and he says that I need to come back because there is a possible ovulsion(??) fracture. So I go back and they put my leg in a temporary splint and give me a 800mg motrin(bleh, give me the morphine/delatin).. Now, I made an appointment to see an orthopedic surgeon.. Not good, I'm assuming.. Yeah, that's what has been goin' on with blindlemon lately. Not so much in TONS of PAIN, but it's a very uncomfortable pain nonetheless. bowl time.
I feel your pain dude. January 27th I broke/fractured/shattered my right ankle. Jumped over a fence, when I landed on the sidewalk it was icy. I messed it up pretty good. Had my surgery the next day. That shit hurt so bad, I told the Dr to cut my damn foot off. I ended up getting a plate and 10 screws holding my ankle together. I've been stuck in the house on crutches since then. I still can't walk really. I have the walking cast on now, I can make it across my living room and back, but that isn't very far and it hurts pretty bad to just do that. I assume yours isn't as bad as mine, if it were you'd have been operation table by now. It sucks bad man, I thought for sure I'd be walking by now, but its coming along slowly. I cannot wait to be able to walk and go back to work. Be careful with that ankle, get the xrays and do as they say. It hurts like hell.
yeah i definitely think mine is not as bad as yours is... i still haven't seen my orthopedic surgeon.. still in the temp. splint
