Bleached crispy leaves

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by Honest American, Jun 2, 2016.

  1. I got a clone about a week ago- didn't harden it off, went straight into soil.

It looked fine until yesterday (high was 90) I noticed it had some leaves look sun-burnt, with green veins, and a little crispy. Is this from the sun? I planted it in fox farm ocean forest soil.

Also, sunday will be 97 degrees- should I put a shade cloth over it?

Fox Farm is a hot soil

I like to add 30% perlite or sand to my mix

to reduce these nute burn effects

I'd flush now with 3 times the pot volume with air temp ph'ed water

allow to drain over nite of 8 hours in the shade

    no nutes for 2-3 weeks

avoid direct hot sun 12-3pm daily keep in shade

    until it perks back

    then continue

    good luck
