I'm just asking, because my three best friends all have step-parents, and they all suck. One of my friends even has a curfew, and he's 19 years old and a sophomore in college. Ridiculous.
ouch. sounds like your buddy needs to move out. i had a step mom for a while. and i HATED her with a passion. and her kids! jesus. ill never forget the kathsquatch (hairiest girl EVER) my step dad payed for my house all thru high school tho, so that was cool. my dads always been sort of a bum.
my real parents suck and my step mom sucks im so glad that im not living in a house with any of them anymore.
sophomore year in high school i got in a fist fight with my stepdad after i crashed his car. i went to court and my dad got full custody of me and i moved in with him for my last two years of highschool... so no, my stepdad is not cool at all...
i hear ya bro! my stepmom is the most nagging little bitch i have ever met... she complains about every little thing... she was so bad that i stopped going to my dads house, now i only see her on special occasions...but she still drives me nuts... my stepdad is an allright guy... i have nothing in common with him... so riding in the same car as him is painful, as there is the most awkward silence you have ever felt... my girlfriend always sits in the back and laughs when he's in the car, because no one says anything... "so i kissed him upside the cranium with an aluminum baseball bat" i heard my mom yell for help, so i walked out of my room and i see this guy hit her in the face... so i quickly walk into my brothers room (sport fanatic) and grab his aluminum baseball bat and walk toward their room... i was soo god damn pissed that i walked in theree with the bat in one hand and a fist in the other... i raised my fist in the air, kinda like a 'wtf' hand motion and he looks at me... apparently not noticing this smooth piece of metal in my hand... and i'm still walking towards him i say "what the fuck are you doing asshole?!?!" and swing the bat as hard as i possibly can at his head... *klink* right above the eyebrow... knocked his ass out cold... my kind of looked up at me in a thankful yet dissaproving look, and i walked out and put the bat back...i knew i was in trouble... 15 minutes the cops are at the door... i was interrogated at first in my room, but i wanted to move out of there, since i was already in trouble... they kept asking me quetions and i just told them "he hit her, and i hit him back, purely out of aggression and love for my mother" i showed up in court on charges of assault with a deadly weapon 1 week later... i was let off in my plea of self-defense, and my mother was siding with me on that... my stepdad was due in court that day too, but he didnt show up as he was still in the hospital... he was let off because of his injury, but sentences to 25 hours comunity service, which i ended up doing because we couldn't afford him not working... especially after a week and a half in the hospital with a coma.... maybe that's why we never talk anymore... ok, so i vote that my step parents suck... they suck balls...
My stepmom is the worst person I've ever met. After telling some people things that she's done, a couple of them have even said that as soon as they had the money they were going to hire a hitman. My mom's boyfriend is pretty cool though. Once I was drinking, and I walked right past him with a 5th of tequila in my hand (I'm under 21) and he didn't say anything.
I had one step dad when I was really young, and he did Horrible things to my brother and I and got sent up.. when I was 11 my mom and real dad got back together, but he passed away when I was 14, and my mom never got with anyone else... My husband's mom and dad have both remarried and he hates both of his step parents... one is an Uber Christian who threw his dad out of the house that HIS DAD was paying for because she felt he wasn't close enough with God, and the other sits on his ass all day while DH's mom works full time and then comes home to be her husbands slave. (opinions derived from DH, and my two Sister-in-laws) But I've known people who's step parents were cool... it happens.
My step dad is a good man. Its my real dad thats the prick. He ran out on me and my mom when I was a baby and didnt have anything to do with me for 19 years. All of a sudden he wants to be my dad. I kicked his ass, and told him thats for the way he beat moms ass

It seems like I'm one of the only ones who actually has a cool step parent. My stepdad has been my step dad since I was 8 (11 years ago). I haven't seen or spoken to my real dad since i was 1 and a half. I don't even consider my dad my step dad. But it is weird cause now my mom and stepdad are seperated. Not divorced though. They see eachother about 5 days a week. They just live in seperate houses. ... it is a messed up situation... I know...
