So i thought i would be a more productive blade on this form instead of posting dumb shit. One topic i have always be intrested in is debt. I am curious to see or hear what blades are in terrible debt or no debt. If you dont want to share thats fine i understand income is a sore subject with some people. If your in debt what kind of debt, meaning house loan, car loan, credit card debt, death in family things like that. if your not in any debt tell us your secrets if you have any, or little things you did to be stable. ill start off im in debt because i just bought a house 3 months ago so 450,000 for me but i dont have any car loans or anything like that and i have ZERO credit card debt
Went to a shit college - 12k in debt currently and not sure if it will go up or not because I appealed it so many times. Fuck ITT Tech.
at least that student loan will be paying off later when you get that nice paying job!!
Hopefully anyway right? I had some student debt from going to college and trying it out but I recently paid it off. Probably the fastest I've ever spent $3600
I'm not hurtin' as much as some of you college folk. But I did just lose my job so I'm just waiting for some debt to pile on.
The only debt I have is a 100 dollar bill, im positive a few hundred bucks but it spends easier then it saves.
I went through bankruptcy ten years ago for about $65,000 in credit card debit mostly from trying to start a business and living expenses during that same time after losing a really good job. Since then I have one credit card and pay it off in full every month. No debt of any kind anymore for anything. Strictly pay as I go these days.
They tried getting me to sign up. I dont remember if it was all together or just one year but I remember the number 40,000. Needless to say I laughed in their face and thought about all the useful stuff I can use that money on, like an actual education.
HA! Full 2 years is 40k. I dropped out after a year of bullshit. Switching teachers, not using our brand new books, teachers not showing up for class(50min drive on way for no teacher PISSED me off), same teacher for 3 different classes, school was IN a mall(Tarentum - Pittsburgh Mills Mall if you don't believe me), and finally they tried making me pay $125 every two weeks because "My loan didn't cover everything" I was like GLAD IM TOLD THIS NOW! and I fuckin walked out that day an never went back. SallieMae originally had me for 25k+ but I appealed it an plead my story with proof of everything that happened and they cut it in half then took more off for me sending them the brand new books still in the plastic wrap lmao. I had a shit college experience.
Well, on paper I owe Chase $85, but legally, I'm not obligated because it was an error and I have to call them up to fix it. Other than that, I'm a almost $200 in the green.
I was fortunate to have most of my university payed for by my parents. I will pick up some debt to pay for my last few semesters, but I'm only in my 3rd semester right now so it's still covered. Fuck it man, without financial aid or scholarships, Cornell costs like 58k a year
Actually, ur in the black haha. Red is negative, black is positive. =) Unless u just bought a $200 sack o green =)
