Blackened Lips

Probably other topics covering this buried in the forum...too lazy to look mb, but;

I've been a day to day smoker for 2 years now(most I've ever quit in one setting is a week, if that) and I chief a lot of blunts..I'm not new to the glass world at all, I used to always carry a bong or pipe, steamroller etc. but I've moved on from that stage of my smoking.

I don't want any additional physical ties to tree because to me it takes weed smoking to a level I'm not comfortable on (as far as socializing, accessibility, etc.) if a bong or piece is there I'll hit it no doubt, but I personally am done with all the pipes, glass or not.

Saying all that, I'm sticking to blunts.(and the occasional joint) I know they cause your lips to get blacker quicker...

I've already taken steps to prevent future blackening to the best of my ability--not volunteering for roach killing( or roach killing in general) , keeping my lips from too much direct contact to the tobacco of the blunt, and overall less smoking( not too much less, but just not every moment of the day)

Now my issue is getting rid of the currently blackened lips...my dilemma is that I've tried the toothbrush method and it works(lips lighter and very close to original color), but after I'm done brushing my lips, I put on carmex and they just slowly return to that blackened color (barely lighter than before I began brushing)

Any other ways?? Or can I improve the toothbrush method?????(I like this method )
