Blackberry growth issue

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by thepreciouslamb, Sep 18, 2011.

  1. This blackberry was fucked since birth lol. It's taproot got tangled while germinating. It's 3 weeks into flowering now, I let it veg for just under 5 weeks. It's only 11 inches tall lol. I don't really care how much it yields, I'm mainly growing it for my girlfriend. The bottom foliage seems way to bushy, and the tiny buds growing aren't getting much light. Should I trim some of the lower leaves? Any help is appreciated

  2. Not sure if that link worked, try this if it doesn't.

  3. I wouldn't trim, your plant needs fan leaves to make buds. You could try doing a little LST to pull those side branches sideways though, they'll stretch and grow up in a little time, should help your issue with it being too compact and bushy.

  4. you can also put a light coming from the side. A CFL pointed at the area not getting light would help. Side lighting increases my yields considerably.

  5. I'm kinda worried about LST...its hard to tell from the pic, but the stem is really thick compared to the size of the plant, it would take a while to train it. It's just over 3 wks into flowering. I have the lights about 20" from the top, I was hoping the distance would help stretch it out. If I don't get much out of it, I'm not too worried, I have quite a few other plants. Thanks for the help guys!
