I have one.. and I think its the greatest thing. When you're Stoned, you know how sometimes you have that 2 second memory thing going on? Well when that happens, If you're texting you have all you're messages displayed right there on the screen sent and received in the order they were sent/received. That way if you totally forget what the hell you were talking about with someone you can just scroll down and re-read the entire conversation. Also If you come up with any of those random ass conversations or arguments you sometimes have while high.. you can always do a little research and settle the argument or look at something that was interesting you. You can even change the size of your text.. That way if your vision is a little foggy you can make the text bigger so its easier to read . Anyways Just thought I'd throw that out there..
Sidekick is the best stoner phone. You have no idea how much fun it is to make your SK kick. I can be entertained for hours by it.
I might get a blackberry curve when I get a job. I was looking at the ones at the store and they seem like the keyboard would be too small though. The sidekicks have the best keyboards but the actual phone is a piece of shit.

I've had a Sidekick and now I have a Blackberry Pearl. The text message "conversation" feature is pretty handy, but a Sidekick can keep you entertained for a longggggg ass time with all of the applications and ringtones and customizing options. Has anyone with a Blackberry passed level 5 on Brickbreaker? That is the best game ever!!!!!!!
Have you ever owned one? Are you saying from a hardware standpoint its a piece of shit or from a software standpoint? Either way, I doubt you've used a sidekick for more than a few hours. It takes weeks to understand the mystique.
They only release a new sidekick like once a year, and when they do they only add one or two features. The sidekick LX and the sidekick slide are the same thing as the sidekick 3. The only difference is they have a better screen and that's it. They're obsolete now.
exactly. plus, having all this unneeded technology is kind of a downer. I've owned a sidekick... yes they are cool and, but a completely rip off. the sidekick just keeps recycling the same crap with a different name. the side kick 2 and the side kick 3 are pretty much exactly the same when it comes down to features... they look slightly different. and this new sidekick lx shit or whatever?? its all the exact same shit! just with a different name and a higher price tag. its also annoying as fuck when your friends and spending more time on their sidekick then actually hanging out with the group.
I never had a blackberry or sidekick but my iPhone is the best. It keeps me entertained for hours also. Best phone i ever owned iphone!!!!!!!
i got the instinct, its pretty sick. its touchscreen and it has pretty much basic cable, real net(youtube and that type shit), radio and other cool shit for when u get bored.
I can type on my sidekick while talking to another person staring them in a face. Its not really that hard.
i can type on my blackberry while doing everything. i love my blackberry i kick it old school 8700g style. i can even type faster and better on the blackberry then i can a computer, pathetic but oh well. The sidekicks are kick-ass as a second phone. They are not updated or feature rich enough to be a solid all around good daily phone. I think the sidekicks have many great things about them. I used to own all of them up to the Sidekick III, i bought the 8700g as soon as it was out. I do change phones a lot but i still think sidekick are awesome they just need some updating. I do want to get a 1st gen iPhoneAnyone got pics or info on they're blackberry. I have the 8700g with the inspired/blackberry 9000 theme, i have beejive with a purple indicator, i had a screen protector on for scratches, on the back is a HUF SF sticker in purple and a tiny A in script for Alife nyc. i just fucked mine up cause it was in my back pocket and i sat on some hard concrete... with the screen out = ouch! So now im using that shitty motorola as a temp phone. I have to decide; should i keep the 8700g/wait for bold, or should i get a curve and then the bold again when it drops? All i know is BBM is the truth, you can not and will never beat it sorry iphone!
