Black Spots on Bud?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Stash Box' started by DMX, Dec 8, 2009.

  1. This bud is not mids, nor is it Dank. Idk how to describe it. Its a good high. Alot of keif gets on you fingers when breaking this bud up. But, on some of the buds, there is a piece of black bud. Its not on all the buds, but quiete a few pieces. It breaks up and it is weed, it has crystals on the black part, but idk wtf it is. Or why its black. I dont have a great picture, at all. Pic will be up soon, but it does no justice.

  2. bump?

  3. That's just from the bud being out in the cold and frostbiten, its nothing major to worry about just clip it off.

  4. Frostbite? Meaning it was grown outdoors? Makes sense, it was probally harvested in late novemember.

  5. Yes definately grown outdoor, yeah that happens when buds are still outdoors around the winter months. Especially when the weathers colder.

Blackspots can also mean mold, you you can usually tell, best way to prevent that is to keep your buds fresh. Keep them in an airtight container and make sure you open it a couple times a day to make sure your buds are getting air and stay fresh and don't get to dry.

Also if mold occurs, cut it off and take an orange peel and put it with your buds for a few hours and make sure to open the jar perodically. That will help the buds regain a little freshness!
