So are they any blades out there into Black Metal? I personally love the genre, although it took me probably the longest out of all the metal subgenres to get into, but now as you can see, I sport the Bathroy avatar . Currently I'm really into Enslaved and Summoning. Eld by Enslaved hasn't left my CD player the past couple of days. My all time favorites are: Burzum, Enslaved, Satyricon, Summoning, Bathory, Drudkh, Ulver, and Immortal. There's a few tolerable Black Metal artists that deserve their dues. But I just can't get into the genre that much. Now you wanna take it a step further and go for the discussion about Cradle of Filth....are they black metal, or goth sell out pussy bitches? That's always a fun topic. And man...their outfits are just ridiculous. They look utterly silly. But still, if that's what they want to do, that's their choice. I would just never wear it
Immortal is fucking fantastic. I always sport the Immortal patch on my backpack. Im really into the Avant Garde shit, stuff like Archturus. Limbonic Art etc. But I love older stuff aswell, Bathory tops the list, but Ancient, Abigor, Burzum, are in the list aswell. As much as I hate the NSBM message, theyres alot of good bands. Bands such as Thunderbolt, Nokturnal Mortum, Ad Hominem are fucking great. Nokturnal Mortum are great at composing the fine art of black metal. Although I theyre some bands that I despise. Such as Infernum and the like.

Eh... not really of fan of black metal, for a few reasons.. a) the gimmicks... I know, all metal has some form of gimmick, but black metal to me is just ridiculous, because its a bunch of really skinny guys in black leather in spikes b) music intenisty... one achieves intensity by having varying degrees of sounds/melody in their songs... black metal is just constand blast beats and tremolo picking on the guitar c) the screaming... I like growls or really well done screams, and this takes me into d) the fact that worse is better than good, so the screams are worse, but BM fans think its better I don't really have anything against black metal, but to me it never embodies any sort of mood or attitude, but its still better than metalcore and that shit I do like a little Burzum and I like Rotting Christ alot... I've heard RC described as black metal but to me they dont really sound too BM
Yes, Dissection absolutely Kill. Im also a huge fan of Lord Belial. Enter The Moonlight Gate is a complete black metal masterpiece. I Urge EVERYONE to get a copy, its FUCKING INCREDIBLE.
