I like this soil called Gardener's Pride All-Purpose Potting Soil from walmart. Is 97c for 4 qrts. I went to two walmarts and they didnt have them in stock. The reason I like this soil is because its very light on the plant. When I put seedlings in it they don't get burnt or shocked at all. I don't have to worry about anything with this soil. Because there out I was thinking about black gold potting soil which is about 8 for 16 qrts. About 2 for 4qrts. Has anyone used black gold potting soil if so would it be light on the plants as described above. Thanks and have a great day
I have used black gold organic (same thing but with a tiny amount of added worm castings) and it worked fine with my seedlings and with some added compost fine for adults (although small ones).
