black berry winter how to protect?

  1. help im in the south and were about to have black berry winter it gets cold agian what should i do to protect my baby plants from frost bite please help!

  2. Where do you live man?

  3. Cover your plants if they're in the ground, if in a pot, put them under shelter so no dew can settle and freeze. I was just listenin to this on a local gardening radio show on the AM radio, that's all we got here for channels, and this dude who runs the show said "cover em up with plastic and put the munder a carport if you can, temparatures itself won't hurt the plant but the frost will cause cold-burn"

So i guess as long as you keep them dry so that no moisture can freeze on em, also if you put a plastic tent over 'em they'll benefit from greehouse effect to keep em a few degrees warmer.

    Hope that helps

    Peace
