  1. If you don't try to control the world, the world has no choice but to govern itself.

The more you prevent people from doing what they want, the less freedom they have.

Well duh! More guns, more gunfire. More bombs, more explosions.

'Weapons are tools of violence. All decent men despise them.'- Lao Tzu

'Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime.'

When you don't say 'this is wrong' there is nothing wrong that can be done.

When you let go of desire for material wealth, you've already got everything you need. 'To want nothing is to have everything.'

When people see some people as rich, others become poor.

When you do not say there is a right way, then there is no wrong way for people to behave.

If you do not say people are doing things the wrong way, then they are doing things the right way.

If you have no desire for the common good, then the good already is as common as grass. If you desire more goodness, then you are implying it is bad now.

  2. Only the fool needs to prove himself. The Master already knows everything is perfect... even if the fool doesn't- no need to bother him.

Man has two ears and one mouth for a reason...

Do not subject yourself to this world (Samsara.)

'I consider the rise and fall of beliefs as but the changing of the seasons.'
    -Buddha

Let go of that which you are clinging to. Be like the sky... free and formless.

'Happiness comes from within, do not seek it without.'
    -Buddha

What's done is done. Let it be.
