Bit of a Problem

  1. I am three weeks or so into flowering my first grow. I am growing DWC with just one plant. I am using one 150watt cfl, one 100watt cfl, two 40watt tube grow lights, and one 25watt tube grow light. I am using a combination of fox farm tiger bloom and big bloom. Now, my problem is, my roots have gotten so massive that they have wrapped themselves around the air tube which leads from the pump to the airstone. This has made changing the reservoir very difficult as i do not want to damage the root structure. because of this, i have simply been mixing my nutrient solution in an outside container and adding it when the water level seems to be getting low. I know this is not good but I don't know what to do. HELP!

  2. I don't think that's the end of the world man. :) Do the roots look healthy enough?

I use DWC, i use buckets which have tubes attached to the side that you can lower to empty the reservoir, it might be worth you considering similar for the next grow. :)
