BioShock 2 DLC

  1. Has anyone heard what's going on?

2K, the makers of the game, are charging 400 MS ($5.00 for anyone too high to perform math:D) for the DLC that includes:

    • Rank Increase to level 50 with Rank Rewards
    • New playable characters Louie McGraff and Oscar Calraca
    • 20 new trials*
    • A third weapon upgrade for each weapon
    • Five additional masks*
What they DIDN'T say, is that the DLC has been on the disc the WHOLE damn time. They are pretty much charging people to use stuff they already purchased! When you go to download it off the market place, it's just a measly 108KB file which SURELY isn't enough room to fit in the above.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm NOT paying for stuff I already own. I know I'm gripping about $5 whole dollars, but really, that's $5 I could be putting towards a 10 with a friend.

  2. I hate the whole DLC system....it feels like we get rushed games just so that we can get charged later with what should be ours on the disc. I only buy it when I feel like the developers really made an effort after the game came out to produce additional content that isn't tacked on, content that is worth playing. And if you're going to release shit content that was cut from the final game, do it like Assassin's Creed 2 where they made it pretty cheap. Don't ever pay for content that's on the disc like that, try to support GOOD dlc only

  3. Wow, that's pretty fucked up.
